Requesting recommendation of the 4th Hoshino prize candidate

Former president Mr. Satoshi Hoshino of the IEIEJ contributes to development of international exchange activity. Moreover, he has contributed a large amount of donation for the IEIEJ individually.
In order to hand down Mr. Hoshino's mind to future generations for a long time, the IEIEJ established the system which commends a member with distinguished remarkable services in international activity of IEIEJ.
Therefore, since IEIEJ seeks the candidates of the Hoshino prize based on the honor code of the Hoshino prize, please recommend a candidate according to the following recommendation rules.
Recommendation rules of the Hoshino prize candidates

1. Candidate for commendation
A commendation person is taken as the person applicable to either of the following.
2. The number of cases of awards
The number of cases of commendation is several at an individual and a group.
A testimonial and an premium are presented.
(1) The member of IEIEJ or the constituent of a foreign related organization who presented an important results related to sciences and technology of electric installation, the contents of which were especially excellent, at the international Workshop to which IEIEJ relates
(2) The member of IEIEJ or the constituent of a foreign related organization who achieved the great contribution to the development of international exchange, and contributed to development of the society
3. Judging system
The Hoshino prize selection committee selects winners from candidates and reports an executive board. Finally, winners are determined by an executive board of directors.
4. How to write a recommendation document
A candidate is recommended by either himself or the others. In a recommendation document, the outline of a candidate's distinguished services, the outline of the reason for recommendation, candidate's simplified personal history, and a candidate's achievements, etc. are written. Please ask IEIEJ of 5-(2) about the style of a recommendation document.

6. The notice method of the determination of an award
A winner and a recommender will be directly informed about a winner's determination by the last day of April, 2011. Moreover, a winner is announced to the Journal of IEIEJ
7. Award ceremony
An award ceremony is held at the general meeting of IEIEJ in 10th June, 2011.
